NH RINDGE — Rindge selectmen approve welfare director contract, FPU events; plan April wage review. The board unanimously renewed Welfare Director Mary Drew's contract at $13,825, changed to monthly payments, and approved two special events permits for Franklin Pierce University. Fire Chief Faas reported a $15,000 repair bill for Engine One's diesel exhaust fluid system failure and discussed potential relocation of the engine from the FPU campus.

The selectmen deferred a decision on department head wage increases to April 1, pending clarification on available funds within the default budget, which was reconciled with unanticipated revenue.
