Rindge Zoning Board denies Cathedral Road frontage variance
Agendas & · Meeting of January 27, 2026
NH RINDGE — Rindge Zoning Board unanimously denies Cathedral Road subdivision. The board rejected Daniel and Gloria Marrotte's request to subdivide their Map 11, Lot 36 property into two nonconforming lots, finding the proposal undermined dimensional standards and that any hardship was self-created. David Drouin, Rindge Conservation Commission member, opposed the subdivision, noting financial hardship does not constitute zoning hardship under state law.
In a separate action, the board voted unanimously to grant a rehearing request from the Board of Selectmen for case 2025-16 to ensure the hardship criterion was adequately addressed.
