NH RINDGE — Rindge Conservation Commission backs Rail Trail expansion and Pool Pond contamination response. At its January 12 meeting, the Commission endorsed a proposed Rails to Trails extension through Homestead Road and Damon Mill Road, with Michael Kowolczyk of the Monadnock Region Rail Trail Collaborative planning to seek Select Board approval in March or April 2026. The Commission also recommended placing signage at six to eight public entry points around Pool Pond to alert residents to elevated PCB levels discovered in a loon egg, after the Pool Pond Association said it cannot fund further research without state support.
