Board of Selectmen approves 2026 warrant articles
Agendas & · Meeting of January 21, 2026
NH RINDGE — Rindge selectmen approve revised 2026 warrant articles ahead of March town meeting. Chairman Bob Hamilton, Vice Chair Tom Coneys, and Selectboard Member Larry Cleveland voted unanimously, 3-0, to place all 16 articles on the warrant and to recommend articles 2 through 14 with revisions. The Highway Department Capital Reserve Fund article was adjusted from $216,521 to $185,000 after extended debate about the town's capacity to fund capital purchases.
Town Administrator Max Vandervliet warned the board that the proposed 2026 budget comes in only $16,000 above the state default budget, marking what selectmen described as "another very challenging year to watch spending."
